Objective
The principle objective of the conference this year, as it was for previous conferences, is to provide a forum for citizens of the Tri-Cities to hear preeminent and credentialed speakers who respect the sanctity of human life in all of its stages from conception through to the dignity of the sick and elderly. This year, however, we are broadening the scope of the conference to also address the many social issues that are impacting freedom of religion, conscience protections, and legal implications of the radical social engineering changes that we are experiencing. The speakers are prepared to inform, educate, and offer approaches that we will be able implement while strengthening our faith.
The conference is non-denominational and prefers to not necessarily "speak to the choir" which is why all citizens are invited to participate, particularly teenagers and young adults who are in their formative years.
We are pleased to present especially informative speakers this year. Austin Ruse and his wife, Cathy Cleaver Ruse are sure to provoke thought and provide inspiration for attendees in either formulating their their thoughts or reinforcing the beliefs in the sanctity of life as we are continuously barraged by policy-makers and journalists who make it their business to disrespect the sanctity of human life, marriage, and freedom of religion.
Additionally, we are fortunate to have Diego and Kimberly Wendt join us to describe their work in funding ultrasound machines for placement in pregnancy care centers throughout the Pacific Northwest through their 4US organization. Their presentation includes a very compelling live ultrasound demonstration that you will not want to miss!
Details
The 2012 Conference is in its final planning stages as we close in on February 25, 2011. Tickets are still available for sale. However, since our speakers are in the forefront in dealing with the recent events at the federal and state levels affecting freedom of religion, tickets are moving fairly quickly. There is a limit of 300 tickets available to be sold so we encourage you to take advantage of the few remaining. First come, first served!
